About shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy uses acoustic pulses, delivered through the skin with a handheld applicator, to treat tendon and soft-tissue problems that have lingered for months.

At Move Physiotherapy in Carrickmacross it's always part of a wider plan. Shockwave is combined with exercises that load and strengthen the tendon, so the improvement lasts.

Is shockwave suitable for everyone?
