About Winback Tecar therapy
Tecar therapy uses radiofrequency energy, passed between handheld electrodes and a plate, to warm tissue from within. Move Physiotherapy uses the Winback system.
It can ease pain and help you move earlier in your rehab. It is always combined with hands-on treatment and exercise rather than used on its own.

What does Tecar therapy feel like?

Can it be combined with other treatment?
Yes. Tecar is used alongside manual therapy and exercise as part of your treatment plan.
Is Tecar therapy suitable for everyone?
Not everyone. For example, it isn't used for people with a pacemaker or during pregnancy. Your assessment checks it's suitable for you.
